“You must do 35 hours of periodic training every 5 years to keep your Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) to drive a lorry, bus or coach.
You can be fined up to £1,000 for driving professionally without Driver CPC.”, (DVLA RULES)

Driver CPC Module 1 – Drivers hours with health and safety.
Drivers hours mandate the limits on how long drivers can work alongside the mandatory rest and break periods needed for international journeys.


Driver CPC Module 2 – Vulnerable road users
The driving landscape is changing every year now with the introduction of new driving applications on our roads, This module will highlight to the driver the geographical hazards when considering runs and driving both rural and urban route.
Driver CPC Module 3 – Highway Code- Spotting hazards and risk awareness. (NOW WITH VR)
The highway code has changed a lot since the introduction of the driver CPC’s. Different codes now place the liability primarily with the mechanically propelled vehicle. Join us for this CPC as we discuss this along with risk awareness and spotting developing hazards.


Driver CPC Module 4 – Manual handling and emergency first aid at work. (can be upgraded to an accredited first aid at work qualification lasting 3 years)
As with any industry everyone knows someone that has had a life changing event happen during the workplace. With the Emergency first aid Driver CPC if the worst day of someones life does happen we can ensure that you will have the skills and confidence to make a difference and possibly save a life.
Driver CPC Module 5 – Bridge strikes, route planning and dealing with on road occurrences
Bridge strikes can ground a driver for days sometimes weeks if investigations take place. Our bridge strike module takes the drivers through the signs, sometimes subtle that let you know when a low bridge will be coming up. With that and other stressors dealing with on road occurrences can push drivers to the limits. We at Bfast understand from a drivers perspective and have methods of de escalation when heated arguments can occur on the roadside.
